ION Solar is a great company. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar panels. There customer service is outstanding and so far, they follow through with whatever they promise. I've had the panels for over a year with no complaints. The savings on my electric bill is enough for me to encourage anyone who would listen to install panels.

Great communication with Matt and team from the start to the end. Knowledgeable, professional, and helpful staff. The install looks great! Our panels are producing well, the app works great, and we're very happy.

Started out great.. and turned into almost a year long project. Finally got completed, but I don’t have a lot of confidence in the final workmanship. The panels do seem to be working. So that’s obviously good, but I’m concerned with other damage issues. Not to mention the money I lost in production over the 10 months it took to complete. I wanted to refer a bunch of people, but now I don’t feel good about it.

The system has yet to produce enough power to affect my bill in anyway. In fact it has hardly changed at all and now I have a $125 bill in addition to my power bill. Additionally, the tax credit was not near what was discussed when I got sold the system. This has turned out to do nothing other than cost me additional money. It also took nearly 11 months for the system install to be completed and turned on.

I do not notice much savings on my electric bill

Underestimated our need, under delivered on savings, and wanted to sell me more panels to correct thier mistake. Paying more now than I ever have for energy.

Excellent at communication, scheduling, and timely follow through on promises.

They came in and did the work in one day! The “red tape” was a mess but they handled all of it. They dealt with the HOA, NV Energy, and the CCBD, I never had to be involved.

I love my system, I love ion , I love the American made products!

System was supposed to cover 90%+ not even close

Installation was excellent and I am very happy with the installed product. The installation crew did a great job. They went beyond epectation in that there was an unanticipated problem with squirrel damage on the system that was being upgraded that was not specifically anticipated in the project contract and that they took care of at no extra cost. Project communications with Ion were sometimes good and sometimes not so. Persons were always helpful and polite when I called but different Ion persons were responsible for these communications at different stages of the project and it seemed that they did not always talk to each other.

The install and permitting and design phase went great. I have two open customer service items open and have had very poor customer experience on the follow up. I am calling again today to see if there is any movement on my issues.

Quite possibly the worst company I’ve ever worked with as far as communicating and keeping a project on schedule. As someone who works in utility-scale solar, I fully understand the processes involved, utility requirements, and hoops to jump through that cause delays, but my goodness, Ion really took things to a whole new level of terrible. There were constantly changing “project managers” who failed to communicate and clearly had no clue what was going on, installation crews that changed each time they visited our house, and generally speaking, Ion was just hard to work with. They don’t even provide direct contact info for the project managers, just a stupid general phone number to call. Will never recommend them to anyone looking to install solar.

Worst company ever!!! we canceled they've harassed us about getting out of the contract. Our sales guy kept harassing us on the phone, Then would not pay for his services for my company because I backed out of the contract , we've told everyone stay away From you guys
