The installation of my system went smoothly and, so far, my system seems to be living up to my expectations. My system seems to be supplying the power to run my household, plus my local driving. I have a plug-in hybrid. I didn't answer some of the questions in this survey, because I really didn't have experience to be able to answer. And the real answer to "What is the likelihood you would recommend SunPower to a friend? " is quite low because, my system has been on-line for a year and a half and no one has asked me about it.

The installation process was a very unexplained and the timing was very unfortunate. It was not a good process and not a good experience. The customer support was very poor.

My install was great by Power Trip in Port Townsend, WA. My energy production seems good, but therein is the problem. Sunpower's website/App production information is almost useless. The monthly reports are often without compete data, last month or last year production #s don't match the reports given for those months when they were current and I have to cobble together information to see what's happening, mostly relying on my power company's reports. My installer has repeatedly contacted Sunpower with my and other of their customers' concerns and so far no evidence of an accurate website or app portrayal of what's going on with my system. I should be able to see real time and historic #s that are consistent and accurate and I don't.

Start to finish a truly 5 star experience! Panels are generating exactly what was promised and the install crew (Urban Energy) completed a super clean install. Really above any beyond, they even tidy’d up some stuff that was outside their scope just to make the overall install that much better!

There was no pressure sales. I have been working with them for years getting design and financing right waiting for federal grants. PUD and L&I approved installation. It was easy, they were polite, quick, and efficient. Training was easy and I can monitor it at any time.

I enjoy the lower power bill and when the grid goes off line I have backup power. Lost power three time from the grid since I had the solar and battery backup installed.

Likes: Sales rep answered all of my questions. Installers were professional, polite and cleaned the area around the house. No HARD selling techniques. Sales Rep professional and polite. Improvements: At least a 2 day advance notice on installation. Electrician came to the house unannounced and I received phone calls from my neighbors about a truck parked in front of my house. Not quite sure what I was supposed to do after installation. I was told I would receive an email from SunPower and I did not receive it until I called. I had to install 3 of the 5 smoke alarms. There was not enough hardware to properly install the alarms.
