The installation was fine, they were very efficient and did the job within a timely manner. But, I'm not having a good experience, I'm having issues I have had several times, and nobody will follow up with my complaints. I cannot recommend them to others because of it, people have approached me about my panels and i can't refer them.

Our representative was friendly and willing to answer all our questions. He wasn't pushy at all, just explained everything exactly without beating around the bush or dodging things he didn't want to say. We've never had any trouble getting in contact with them and they were able to resolve the issue we were having with the city and permit. It went very smoothly, and we don't have any difficulties in checking up on the equipment frequently.

They still haven't filled in the trench we have, and I think they need more panels on it because it doesn't produce that much.

I SIGNED A CONTRACRT MARCH 2018, I TRIED TO CONTACT THE COMPANY BY EMAIL, TELEPHONE AND TEXT (OVER 10 TIMES), I FINALLY GOT A RESPOND YESTERDAY (JULY 19 ) ALMOST 4 MONTH LATER; I WAS TOLD I NEED NEW ROOF. THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER (BEFORE INSTALLATION). 0NE WOULD WONDER WHAT KIND OF SERVICE THEY HAVE AFTER THE INSTALL AND TAKE YOUR MONEY. ON SCALE FROM 1 TO 10, THERY ARE - 5.

Momentum solar is the best solar company I could have gone with. I sat with different ones and this was by far the smartest and easiest choice. Not only is the product the best, but the guy that sat down with me was by far the coolest person I’ve ever sat with. His name is Marlon M and he made every step of the way as painless as possible. He explained it in a way that I understood, he knew what he was talking about and he genuinely seemed to want to get to know me. I actually wouldn’t mind being this guys friend after sitting with him. Like I said before, I’ve thought a long and hard about going solar but as soon as I sat with Marlon, it was a done deal. He made me see the value in the product. Not only does it benefit me and my family in the long run but it’ll help save the world even if it only starts with me. Thank you Momentum Solar for everything and thank you Marlon for making this experience and enjoyable and happy one.

To include Sunnova and PGMATS. All liars!! Don’t fall for it!!!!! We did and got stuffed. They talked us into what we were led to believe an awesome deal and they lied. They said we would be installed quick and that was the only thing they got right. They even blessed us with a foot through the ceiling in a 6 year old house. Then it took them months to get the damn thing activated. They talked us out of getting the money for home improvement because we could be getting a check weekly. So we didn’t get the home improvement credit and we weren’t trained to work with the SRECS. Supposedly we were to start an account and go through that. Never told us anything. Never sent anyone to give us a run down on how everything works. Here we sit a year after activation paying for the panels, paying electricity because the bunches of panels on the roof is not generating enough energy, however we were told that it would and not getting phone calls back when promised. It is all a scam. Their words are worthless!!!

Live in Cocoa, FL. My roof faces south and had Rep meet with me and they quoted me a price with low performing panels. I i declined the proposal. They call me several times later and offered me a $50 dollar check (gimmick) to see if they could sale me a system with a better deal. In my opinion they are not a legitimate solar company. They have teller marketers call and lie to you. I'm retired US Navy and a US Postal employee with $50,000 per year income and 700+ credit score and the company states after calling me 4 times I don't qualify for solar (go figure) and I would have to pay more (bait and switch). In my opinion, don't waste your time. P.S. I worked as a student with FL Solar Energy Center and completed a solar training certificate and they do a poor site assessment. What's worse their salesperson try to talk you into a contract over the phone without any knowledge of your building site plan and energy demand. My advise is to change your lighting to LED, put your hot water heater on a timer, install a 18 seer 1 ton mini split AC in your biggest living space (draws about 500 w an hour.) before your install an oversized solar system for $30,000 dollars that the salesperson wants to finance with interest. I spent about than $3000 dollars on a LED lights, timer, mini split, and ecobee programmable thermostat for my heat pump 2.5 ton. My light bill is $40 a month less which I will use to buy a hybrid water heater and heat pump clothes dryer next which will save me about an extra $10 per month. Hence a smaller affordable system for about half the cost.

Momentum Solar gave me an appointment in my home, in the Bronx. The Solar Rep that was assigned to me explained everything in detail. I recommend Solar for everyone now. It is much cheaper than Con Ed and saves the environment too! Get Solar Energy if you are a homeowner, it is the best and it is the future!

The panels were up in 4 weeks! Had to wait for SDGE to come out, but that was not fault of Momentum. Excellent customer service! Would highly recommend!

Momentum Solar has been an absolute JOY to deal with. From the helpful people in the call center, to my truly, always there for me, Solar guy Marlon. I looked at other companies, but found the total package and best value with Momentum. I’ve read other reviews trying to scare other people away, and can’t understand why someone would do that. I’ve been to their office in Metuchen where they make everything happen. They clearly install all their own projects and train their entire staff in the same facility. I’m as happy as can be. All promises were kept, and I’m now saving money by transitioning. Thank you to all the guys and gals in Metuchen who made it happen.

My family spoke to another solar company first but Momentum went above beyond to ensure we'd qualify with the highest offset. We were able to save a bit more money , and the sales man seemed to know more about what he was selling, so we felt more comfortble. the install crew finished last week so just waiting to be turned on. Can't wait to store a bit more money away

In July of 2017 we accepted a proposal as of today November 28, 2017, NO SOLAR! A rep came out on 11/26/17 for the 3rd site survey. Permits from city will be 1 to 4 months. I found out that they were sub-contracting and those subs went out of business or failed to perform. They are now trying to recover from all of their canceled jobs.

First meeting time, no one showed up. Second meeting time, no one showed up. This after confirming the night before. I called them to find out why, and was told they had left an early morning phone message that my home was "disqualified". Turns out they left that message at a different house. I asked why we were "disqualified", and was specifically told that Momentum only installs panels that will provide 100% efficiency by facing due south, and most of my roofs face west. While this may be a noble concept, Momentum's own website shows a brick front home with panels facing 3 different directions, and it's an ugly installation on hipped roofs. No way will this achieve anywhere near 100% efficiency. Maybe I'm just angry at them for missing 2 appointments, but if you screw up, don't try to dance around the reason. Just say "I'm sorry, I can do better"
