Nightmare with Vivint Solar! A year after I paid thousands of dollars to build out the infrastructure to add additional panels, they still had not turned on the service! Hours and hours of phone calls, city inspector ready to penalize me because work wasn't finished, emails and more emails. Promises and broken promises. Oh, and being charged for a system NEVER turned on. Go with anywhere else!! Feel free to checkout my "Yelp!" reviews. Oh, and I sold the house and 6 months later they still haven't move the billing to the new owner. Looking for solar on new house, it will not be Vivint.

Hi Vivint, so here it goes... On May 21 -Sales rep Jake visited my wife and I. He did a great job discussing our options and we decided to go Vivint. June 5 -The initial survey was done by a great tech, checked all roof sections on a 90' day, not a peep. July 15 -Our install was scheduled. Electricians say "they cant do anything because because they couldn't install the inverter where they want it", and didn't have parts to run wire through porch roof, so we need to reschedule. My panicked wife called me, I spoke with them over phone, and asked to at least installed panels and said they would. Panels were hung with nothing else done. Aug 22 -3 electrician's vans returned to finish install, but their vendor sent them the wrong part. I went out and bought three options from a local supply, and they used one for the install. To complete the install. Place system in stand-by until inspected. Sept 1 -A Vivint electrical inspector showed up unannounced. He observed the install from the ground using binoculars and said the inspection failed due to "loose wires" under the panels. He never set foot on the roof. Oct 13 -Since we hadn't seen or heard from any Vivint techs or inspectors for weeks I contacted Vivint customer service to check the status of our systems install. The CS rep told me our system was already on-line. I replied that "if it's online then why does the control panel read "Stand-by?" The after waiting on hold I was told our system had just been turned on. We have been happy since getting the system up and running, and have referred people to get panels, but it seems as they are hesitant seeing how our experience went waiting almost five months. We will continue to praise Vivint, based solely on the number of texts and emails we've exchanged with SR Jake, who confidently reassured us everything would work out just fine. The crew that installed the solar were great, they keep me informed during the entire installation on what was taking place. The sales Manager Adam Woolums also provided step by step process of the installation, how long in would take from start to the activation. I would recommend Vivint solar to Friends and Family.

Our sales person was excellent and thoroughly well prepared. We understood the agreement and process, and felt very comfortable throughout. The installers were quick neat and clean, and the physical installation is very professional.

Horrible service once the panels were installed. Was on hold for 54 minutes waiting for a response from the service team and when I did get a response, I was told it would be 23 days before they could get someone out to repair the data reporting system. We are paying as much as we did on budget billing with BGE because our bill is arbitrarily decided on, and increases significantly each month, because the data reporting is not working correctly.

Tony DePaola IS our Vivint Solar Representative. A true professional who displayed EXCELLENT customer service throughout the entire process. He excelled at keeping us informed along the way. When it came time for the actual installation, He commented that His install team is impressive. He was Right! They were fast, efficient, respectful and the quality of their work is truly "second to none"! I'm very picky about details and I have a discriminating eye in regards to detail and quality in all matters but especially towards workmanship. It was obvious that our install was NOT their "first rodeo"! Once we finally got on line, we have been very pleased with the more manageable/reasonable monthly utility bill. The waiting period from final install to full operation was excessive I thought but other than that, we are very happy with our system. Did I mention NOT ONE CENT of our money has gone into the system except to pay for our monthly electricity. Solar is GREAT!

Wow, where to begin. Don't go with them! Our Rep. Daniel Huddleston was smooth. You only pay for what you energy you use and then you get a refund from SCE, not! No liens on our home, not! If you are not happy with your savings just tell us to remove the panels, not! He disappeared out of town off social media, scammers! Took 6 months to install and we have not seen any savings at all. They tell wait a year and you will see. Customer Service can help because they don't know what salesperson does and they can't locate him. When we start asking the serious questions they disconnect us. We email and they won't return them. Don't know what else to do. If anybody is having the same experience and can help us out please respond. Don't use Vivint Solar unless you want to pay more, have a 20 year lease and bad customer service.

Everything is installed and looks good. Was done in a timely manner just 4 hours. Just needs the inspection and the ok to turn the system on.

I have had Vivint for over 3-years and i'm very pleased with the service, some months my electric bill is $11.00. Any time I called for service they showed up on time, and never had a problem with customer service. I have recommended to 2 family members, and they are satisfied also.

From Lance rich, to the crew sent out –forgot names– but very very nice, safe friendly. Cant see why anyone would pick someone else. Also, it really looks clean with the lower shield at the bottom of panels.
