When initially shopping and interviewing various Solar companies, I ultimately selected Solar Optimum. i found they were always available for my many questions. Installation was super fast and without issues. I even had them upgrade my electrical panel. Solar Optimum’s customer service is outstanding. There‘s always someone available to answer questions/concerns, and if that individual is unable to address a question, another person with that specific knowledge will call me back. Overall, I will without a doubt, recommend Solar Optimum to install your Solar needs. Great job everyone!

I came to Solar Optimum after being rejected by Tesla for Solar. The difference was night and day. Solar Optimum provided timely turnaround every step of the installation. I was impressed at how fast they were able to provide a new system mockup given my feedback so I could tune the size of my system to meet my budget. In comparison, Tesla took 2 months to do anything, so it was really refreshing to get fast turnaround. Solar Optimum also seems to be installing the best products. I got Panasonic brand panels with the latest Enphase IQ8 microinverters. For battery storage I got a Powerwall 2.0 and the full installation included a Tesla Gateway and an Enphase IQ combiner. It was really nice to see this product offering off the bat without needing to ask. The total price was about 20% over what Tesla's quotes were. The key difference will come in with the battery because Tesla steeply discounts those with installation. The solar panel products are superior to Tesla's so I think the price differential is worth it. I got my installation done from first contact with Sales to PTO within about 6 weeks time, pretty reasonable. And this was over the holidays too.

I am pleased with the final result of the installation, power generation is 50 to 100 % of needs depending on season, sunlight hours and weather, I expect this to improve. Spring, Summer and Fall. Batteries are great to have. Customer service follows thru well in most cases. Installers were diligent and polite, quality of workmanship is acceptable but can stand some improvement. however with some persistence they did complete open issues. Hoping to receive all rebates and incentives, yet to see. BTW, I did overpay a bill and Solar Optimum caught it and did refund me the over payment, Thank you I would recommend Solar Optimum to others.

Service is good only concern was the delayed in hooking the system due to minor issues that was resolved in timely manner

The process was efficient and simple - and we had a working solar system in just a few month!

Workmanship and installers were great. Getting the work done though took months. Everything was cleared to go in October till installers came and said roof was not good. Ended up having roof work repaired and from then on I had to call weekly to see when roof and Solar was going to get installed and system activated. Signed paperwork for Solar in July ‘22 and officially running in February ‘23. Customer service was great every time I called and always helpful.

Timely, great installation, good customer service. They called me when they got notified of an issue and came quickly to solve it. It's always a long project installing solar and getting everything paperwork wise, but Solar optimum did everything quickly. The city always takes forever, same with socal Edison.

Highly recommend. Very competitive rates based on the 9 companies I got quotes from. One of the ONLY few companies that have lived as long as warranty. Installers were awesome and attention to detail was great. Good communication throughout the entire process. Highly recommend and had 4 other friends and family jump on board. Thank you!

The competitive price was a very large factor in my choosing Solar Optimum to install my solar system; however, my experience throughout the process was very good once I understood that different departments handled different aspects of the installation. The referral to the WPCCU (credit union) for my loan was simply great, and my raise in my social security essentially makes the payments for the loan. Lastly, I found all represetatives of Solar Optimum very courteous and professional.

After comparing the technology (solar panel and inverters offered), price quoted, and customer reviews, I went with Solar Optimum. Although they were not the cheapest, they offered the best value and trust. The whole process was pretty straightforward with great communication throughout the process. The installation went smoothly. I am now 3 months into usage, and I am glad that I got solar through Solar Optimum.

I am completely satisfied with Solar Optimum work and performance, the highlight of their work was that they completed installation of solar panels and electrical panel upgrade from 100 Amps to 200 Amps in only one day. They did a very clean job. I recommend them to new owners who think about going Solar.
