My experience with Elan was really bad - I didn't like it. It took them a really long time to hook up the system and they had so many problems. They promised so many things and didn't keep up. Then they were supposed to refund me money because I was paying my electric bill. They never refunded me the money. I won't recommend them.

It's working just fine though they should warn their customers about bird potentially getting under the panels and offer some sort of solution for that. It would be great if they offered that as part of the service. It is a little but of trouble getting of someone in customer service after the install was done.

Nobody calls back. There is no customer service whatsoever. Go somewhere else.

I pay too much for the service and they have the worst customer service I’ve ever had. There is no support. It took eight or nine months and I didn’t hear from them at all. For the installation they came and put the solar panels up and that is it. They didn’t explain anything. They were super messy. I am trying to get rid of them.

So far everything works well. It is pretty expensive and they were slow to start but eventually things got taken care of. They were pretty responsive when we called.

The price is good and it work flawlessly. Installation was done very quickly, within a day. It was great. They responded to every questions I had.

Everything, including permits, they took care of. I didn’t have to do much. There isn’t a definite place to call to get a hold of someone in customer service.

The salesman was great and every time I call, which has been several times to get things done, they call me back and take care of my problem.

They were supposed to give me a good deal but it has gone very poorly.

The sales guy is very good. Customer service is very nonresponsive. We struggled to get it installed. Installation was okay. They installed part of it on the roof that doesn’t have attic access so now they can’t access those panels and they are just sitting there.

There is still hardware that needs to be installed but it otherwise ahs been seamless. I haven’t had any problems. If you are looking for alternative energy, give them a call.

Comparable in price and quality to other companies. The process works great. We could call to know what was happening next. Installation was fine though they did leave some stuff in the yard that we had to clean up.

Had a lot of problems with my install. It didn’t happen when it was supposed to. It dragged. My rate plan changed. Once they came and finally installed it, there was snow on my roof that had to be shoveled off. They never credited me like they were supposed to. My sales person told me all kinds of things that were not true. They did upgrade my system to cover the additional cost and they were pretty nice so I am pretty happy overall.

Installation went well but nobody has ever followed with me on it.
