Every once in a while I stumble across a company with great followup and amazing communication. That's my experience with Blue Raven Solar. Man, these guys have been impressive. I've been a full time Realtor for decades so I'm pretty picky about who I endorse, but I have ZERO reticence in referring Blue Raven Solar.

The crew that installed our new solar system was on time, communicative, professional, and efficient. We were told the installation could take a day and a half, but the install was completed in one day. The team worked hard, took the time to inform us about our system, and did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of the day. The installation looks professional and well-done. We are very pleased with Blue Raven and install crew #4. Great job!

From sales to installation Blue Raven has been great to work with. All my questions were answered quickly and professionally. Recently had some electrical work done and that other company wanted to replace the main panel. I asked Jonathan at Blue Raven if this was needed. He let me know that it was not and the panel was fine, he even shared the electrical plans that Blue Raven had submitted for permitting. They saved me from paying 7,000 to this other company! On the installation day the crew was on time and very knowledgeable and friendly. They worked quickly and did a wonderful job on the install. The final fit and finish looks amazing. Very happy with the results! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

They were on time for the installation and got right to work. The crew updated my house mate in what the next steps would be. Good company and good communication from the salesperson, technicians and net metering department. They even organized a person to come and fix siding after electrical work.

There is nothing I like about this company. Process started over 6 months ago. Going into month 7 and still waiting for Blue Raven to complete the installation. Representative who talked to us on day 1 stated he would be with us every step of the way to answer any questions we needed. Day 2 he disappeared and is unheard/unseen since. At installation which was about 5 weeks ago, they left empty water bottles between the panels and roof (poor quality work), broke the pipe at the outdoor electric panel, and left a huge hole in my drywall at the indoor electric panel. I have tried to contact them numerous times through email (no response) and phone calls but the only line is currently busy and can leave no messages as their box is full. I wonder why… Communication is horrible to say the least. Customer service is terrible. Last time I saw them was a few days ago when they showed up to repair the pipe but somehow did not have the right circuit breaker. How do you not know what you need before coming to make repairs of what you messed up? Maybe they’ll show up this week or next. Maybe next month. Who knows? I surely don’t. Would never recommend or refer them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I just hope it’ll get done before 2022 ends!

The delivery company they use to drop off product to be installed, damaged my yard across the street from where the work was being done. A rep from the company called finally after I texted him after I waited almost day. His comments to me were, not their fault and just put some dirt in the dip. There are two long waves in my yard. If a company can't resolve something like this then how will they handle any of their customers problems.

Blue Raven solar is a joke.. It's been 10 months since they started. I spoke with Kevin V last week about keeping me up to date. He has done nothing close to it. I have to keep reaching out him and others. I still haven't gotten my thermostat. System been up and running for almost a month and nothing from him. The service is terrible. I will be using all of my social media platforms to let all my friends and family know not to use this company. Bad enough they wanted to give me $300 to revise or take down my review. You would think after taking so long to install, they would try a little harder to please a customer. I would never refer this company to anyone. I wish I had never gotten involved with this company. Thanks alot for my headache. BBB is my next step.

We got our panels installed. After 2 months (no fault of the company-inspections, permits etc) we were up and running. My bill is now the monthly fee charged by the electric company. I'm sure it'll be higher in the summer but no where near what it used to be. Even with the monthly cost of the panels it will be A LOT LESS of what we used to pay. The staff has been very helpful with any questions I've had.

Where to start? September 27, 2021 sign and pay half of what would be a headache, Today April 12, 2022 the system finally seems to work, if 7 months seems little, my headache was not, a disaster customer service Communication with the client was a disaster, but they made sure that yesterday I received my last bill to pay them, I called by phone no less than 10 times to find out what was happening because nobody was able to tell me what was happening, they even told me that I'm sure it would be installed before the end of the year to be able to have the credit from the government (a lie), a total disappointment, the last person who attended me, (I don't remember his name) didn't even care about the frustration I had, I had to call directly to the electrician to solve the problem, which Watts company had already solved the problem 2 weeks before and Blue Raven still said that they had to solve the problem. A very bad experience and company itself. When I told them that the inspector from Sandy city had passed and told me that the system was failed, the person from Blue Raven asked me (yes, me) what the city had told me that it was failing when I had paid half of the installation (which are not a few dollars) for me to tell him what the problem was!!! The truth is that I am very disappointed in this company and never again, if possible, will do business with them. Hopefully the system never fails so I don't have to call them.

This has been one of the worst services of all time! Absolute dysfunction! The sales team did a great job getting in the door and selling the product. Once the papers are signed you never hear from them again! They were quick to install panels on my home but nothing else occurred for a very long time. As they were wrapping up the installation, they found the breaker box needed to be updated before proceeding. Negligence on BRS's part when post installation inspection. BRS agreed to pay for the upgrade. BRS shipped all the parts to my home for the breaker panel upgrade. According to the local electrician the parts were all incorrect. The city came by my home and stated the permits for the panels weren't approved yet and the panels needed to come down. This was all supposed to be taken care by BRS. After weeks and months of calling for a status update on when this panel upgrade would be completed the install occurs 5 months later. This is also after I already started making monthly payments for the solar panel loan which weren't operational. What a joke to make payments on something that isn't operational. I also couldn’t switch over electric companies to obtain credits due to the panels not being operational. Not only due I have solar panels installed but making a loan payment for them along with a full electric bill due to BRS's dysfunction. The excuses I received was "the city is being hard on us." Not my problem! If BRS did their job correctly and well then, these issues wouldn't have occurred. While in conjunction with all this going on I watched my neighbor go through the same hassles. Now I have the breaker panel upgraded and the panels functioning but not able to view the productivity through there Enlighten (Enphase) app. This issue has now been going on for 3 months without a resolution. A technician comes out the first time and states they need to call the installer. Why in the hell is there a technician coming out to begin with if they can't repair the issue. Never say or heard from the installer. Have called in multiple times over the 3 months and advised that it's "on the schedule." It was scheduled for someone to come out two more times for resolution and both were no shows! What kind of customer service is this!?!? Now being scheduled for a 4th time to see what happens. Issue still not resolved after 7 months! The referral program incentive is ridiculous! Filled that out over 8 months ago and took them 7 months to cut a check for it. Why would I ever recommend this company to anyone ever again! Not one call from anyone in management to apologize or offer any type of compensation for the extreme hassle, neglect, and upmost lack of professionalism. If anyone is reading this walk away and do not ever do business with BRS. Take the "R" out and you get your real answer. JUST BS!
