Though the process from start to finish was a while, our representative Al O was always very helpful and thorough. If we ever had any questions he was always available and got back to us right away. The system installation was also pretty smooth. I hope the system works well for us, and hopefully saves us money!

I hired Solar Power Energy because I know the owner, AND I trust him. But here is the deal: I got proposals from 4 companies (I know someone at each). SPE had the best price AND I really like the financing option AND the roofer they hooked me up with (I needed a new one) was fair priced as well as very comunicative. The roof was installed perfectly, the solar within a few days after and... I got interconnected within a week after (this is not typical and SPE has no control over this). I have been involved in clean energy for about 14 years and have see the worst. this experience was perfect (I am not all that easy to deal with). Special shout out to Tanya on the back end who kept the paperwork in check and the job moving at a fast pace. Got my first bill comparison. Last year Electric charge in LADWP was $975 (two months). this year same summer bill $68. BAM!!!

So far so good. It took a little longer then expected, but at the end things are falling in place. I basically dealt with my salesmen Daniel C all the time, who was very good, easy going and carefully listened to my suggestions. Every time I spoke to him he was very detailed in explaining certain situations providing me with pictures via emails. Because of him, from not knowing anything abut solar I became quite knowledgeable and I understand a lot more then before. I wish there are more people like him around. Thank you Daniel, keep up the good work. Now, we are at the end of the road except wrapping up with lath and stucco repair. And then at the end solar inspection and let the system go in circulation. I also dealt with Jesse and Jessica few times who were informing me of certain progress of the project. Thank you to both of them as well.

If I could give a negative review I would. Install team was rude and damaged my property and months of non action by SunPower and completely ignoring my emails. Finally got some traction after 10 consecutive emails not responded by SunPower I CC'd the CEO and someone from his team reached out to me. Every step of the way has been painful. Regret ever signing up with them.

Horrible customer service, lack of communication from the team, prolonged process due to errors and miscommunications. Multiple emails, phone calls, messages, and voicemails were left and after weeks that turned to months, we would finally get a response. There is a poor communication with the admin team and the team that comes out to do the installations and labor. Employees would randomly show up on our doorstep randomly early in the morning telling us that they had an appointment to be there but none of this was communicated with us. Multiple times we had to be the one accommodating them for showing up randomly and we had to constantly ask for an explanation or update on our project. Our project took so long to complete. It has been a year and we are still having issues. After our solar panels were installed, a month later it rained and we discovered that there was a leak on the roof after this installation when there was no leak in the roof before. We are still waiting for this to be assessed and fixed and employees are still coming randomly to our doorstep expecting us to accommodate and have someone at home when we already made an appointment for this to happen. The pitch for the sale of solar panels was greatly delivered but the promises of money back and strong communication were all false promises.

SunPower has most definitely exceeded my expectations. The process was seamless from the original consultation by Stan G, who went over all the scenarios, financials, explained the tech as well as described the company as a whole and why I should trust it. The project manager subsequently basically took me by the hand and walked thought every step, document, form, and appointment. They were flexible with my schedule, and performed very efficiently. A couple of times I had to call customer support, they answered immediately and had all the ducks in a row. The installation crew did amazing and on time, including very personal touches as to matching the paint for the wire tubing, to the house, etc. Inspections were done on time, and the system was up and running ahead of schedule. The power company was remarkably intime as well and we started using the system. There is an app also, which is user friendly and provides plethora of information about production and consumption, making it easy to monitor. Overall, a fantastic experience and I am recommending the company to my friends who don’t have solar yet.
