I contacted Solar Optimum about a home battery because I got our solar system from them 4 years ago. Because why not go all the way, when I've already taken the first step towards energy efficiency? I ended up going with the 2.0 battery Tesla Powerwall because from what I researched is the best home battery on the market, and of discussion! I personally did a ton of research, and I ended up going back to the Tesla battery every single time. It was installed recently and the performance is great. The app is really easy to use and I'm able to see when it is on and off. Actually, the goal is become fully independent from my utility company in the long run, which this battery will now help me achieve!

In an industry full of dishonest people, it is refreshing to come across Solar Optimum! They were patient and honest, and they made me feel like I was their number one priority regardless of when I contacted them. I ended up buying an LG solar system with inverter from Enphase, which was installed 2 weeks ago. I am very impressed by Solar Optimum's kindness and honesty and also their prices! I recommend calling them if you want to get solar too! We're thinking about the Tesla power wall but for now, we're very happy with our existing energy system.

I bought the Tesla Powerwall battery three months ago. I already had solar on my home, and part of the reason I wanted the battery was to optimize my energy efficiency even more so that in case my solar paneles aren't producing (like during rain and when the weather sucks), I don't have to pay for power! And compared to some of the other options out there, the design of the Tesla battery is much, much nicer! Glad I went with Solar Optimum for the battery install. They had it in stock while others didn't and they were also very helpful in getting me the rebate for the Tesla Powerwall.

Just Stop Looking for a solar company! Go straight to Solar Optimum! They are the best in the business ( we talked to many, and none of them compared ), and Alex is extremely knowledgeable and service-mined. On top of that, their warranties are incredible! We are so happy we bought our solar system from them. No regrets.

He took his time explaining everything to us, because we didn't know about all the benefits of solar, and he gave us a really good solution. I think I spent almost an entire year researching, so I know a lot before I contacted all the different companies, and Solar Optimum has BY FAR the best offer! Best products and definitely best warranties too. Every single interaction with Solar Optimum was a good experience. Thoroughly impressed doesn't even start to scratch the surface of our time with Solar Optimum. The entire process was quite easy. They handled everything from start to finish. My only responsibility was to review and sign documents via DocuSign which was extremely convenient. They communicated very well with me. Each step of the process happened exactly when they promised it would. I had no delays. The installation crew did a great job. They were fast and made sure everything was tidy before they left. The system has been performing exactly as promised for several months now.

I considered installing solar on my house for years...glad I waited because prices have come way down. My typical usage here in South Orange County, CA was around $300 a month. We have a pool which uses quite a bit. I was not interested in trading one monthly payment for another: canceling out the SDGE put paying the solar payment instead even if it was less. But now it was a good time to purchase the system paying cash for it. The panels and micro-inverters have come a long way so the 330 watt panels are highly efficient. I purchased 18 panels for my house and I am confident that they will produce all the electricity we need. The break even will be less than 4 years! After that I am paying no one for electricity! Plus the home will be worth more with the fully paid for solar panels. As a Realtor I know it is a huge disadvantage to sell your house with a financed solar system. The Buyer's may not want it or want to pay for that...let alone qualify. I compared over 5 companies and Solar Optimum offered the best products, best warranties, best installers, best communication, great all around. They are really on the ball. They get the engineers to design the system, get the city permits, send the installers right away and installed in one day! They got the city to sign off approval the very next day and then the utilities switched me over within a week. You can send anyone at Solar Optimum and email and you will get a response in 5 mins or less!! They are seriously the BEST!!

I have worked in the service industry for 20+ years and rarely do I leave reviews but I had to mention Solar Optimum in particular because of how impressed I am from the initial call for a quote to the installation and follow-up. The staff as Optimum has been a breath of fresh air as it was difficult to find a company in which we could really feel comfortable investing in and building a long-term relationship with. We feel 100% confident the decision we made going with Solar Optimum was the best one we could've done for our home and the environment.

Solar Optimum is the best solar company! When I first contacted them, I wasn't sure if I even what type o solar system I wanted, and I expected them to try to push me into buying the most expensive, but that was not the case at all. The sales representative I talked to, Ivan took his time to simply answer my questions and explain to me everything I needed to know to make an informed decision. I met with two other, but Solar Optimum had by far the best deal (in addition to their honesty, professionalism and knowledge) - for example, they were the only ones I talked to who offers a full 25 years warranty!! My system is running perfectly. I'm very impressed with Solar Optimum.

Rarely have I come across a company with such a courteous and helpful staff. Our solar representative Mark was patient and very informative, and he made sure we understood exactly what we were doing, both in terms of the project itself as well as the financial gain. Solar Optimum took care of everything for us, form the custom solar design, permits, rebates and installation, and it all happened just like they explained us it would and right on time.
