I am very satisfied with the customer service experience I had with Solar Optimum after talking to their representative Kevin. Kevin is very knowledgeable about solar, and he is very professional. Kevin provided me with a quote to install solar and it was one of the best prices among the quotes I received from other companies. Solar Optimum's quote was clear, precise and transparent on pricing breakdown. I don't have much knowledge about solar power and how it works but Kevin took a good amount time to explain me the details of the whole process of installing solar and answered all my questions since. I reached out to Solar Optimum for my getting my house ready with solar support. My project was time sensitive as I wanted to get into CA's NEM2(NET metering 2 program). Solar Optimum prioritized my ask and provided - permits, applications, design, procurement and installation well within the deadline. Also the price they quoted was lower then other companies I reached out to.

On Monday, 12/4/2023 Solar Optimum completed the installation of our solar system that consisted of panels and batteries. We are extremely pleased with the experience from the beginning to the end. Our journey began with twelve vendors; we narrowed it down to three before ultimately choosing Solar Optimum. They were reasonable priced, and the process took only two months from the time the contract was signed to receiving permission to operate (PTO). Our Solar Consultant Mikkel M was very knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process. Davey W the account coordinator provided the best service. He was always available and when I left messages, he got back to me immediately and addressed our concerns. When we received the first draft of the layout, we had some questions and change requests which Gina S from the project team addressed and updated the design. Once the design was approved, Solar Optimum took care of all the behind-the-scenes tasks, e.g., permits, city approvals, utility interconnection, etc. The installation was then scheduled, and the equipment arrived first thing that morning as planned. The crew showed up, worked into the evening, and completed the entire installation all in one day! The crew worked efficiently and neat and cleaned up everything before they left. The inspection was then scheduled for Monday the following week arriving sometime between 8am and 5pm. The representative from Solar Optimum arrived at 7:30am. He powered on the system, tested, and performed all the configurations. By 10am the inspector arrived, and we passed! PTO followed the very next day, and the monitoring app was up and running. Additionally, Hannah O helped us tie up the loose ends (warranty info, invoicing, etc.) and made sure we were completely satisfied with the product. Thanks to the Solar Optimum team for going above and beyond expectations.

The entire Solar Optimum team was great. No other company actually sized my system to the appliances I had in my home. They offered choices of panels used, designed a system that cost much less than the other quotes I received based on actual power needs. They were prompt to answer any and all questions I had throughout the process. It was seamless from design, site inspection, permitting and installation. Once installed the system developed the power that they said it was designed to provide and I am enjoying power now for 10 days at pennies a day.
