The whole process was great. When the electric company suddenly and without notice shut down our grid connection, they assisted in getting them to turn it back on. Customer service was great in every aspect! The Apps are awesome and provide a lot of information on the system and how it is performing.

Very professional from the presentation all the way to full installation. They also kept us in the loop when there was bad weather coming.

I contracted with Shinnova to install a solar system on my home two days after Memorial Day, 2023, and the system was activated on July 3. Every person I came in contact with from sales, to design, to project management, to installation crew acted professionally and courteously, as well as efficiently. They did not oversell the product but provided clear and accurate information. It was a much different experience from a different company that also made a bid on the job. It was clear that the company had a positive working experience with my utility company in Independence, Missouri. That helped expedite the process. The system has produced as expected during the first couple of weeks. I have no experience with warranty service after the install, but to this point I would give Shinnova a very high recommendation. If I were to do it again, Shinnova would be my company of choice.

Every step of this process (the installation, financing, technology/app tracking and tax filing) was smooth and effortless. I was a bit nervous about the network of contractors utilized but it was unwarranted. The solar panel installation took a couple months with several visits from the installers, electricians and Shinova reps - pretty painless overall. I'm a huge fan of the real-time data tracking app installed on my phone with several metrics to gauge performance. The installed cellular card occasionally has issues staying connected to the cellular tower in our neighborhood, which is more indicative of the poor cell tower coverage. However, the instructions for configuring the gateway through our wi-fi was pretty straight forward as a nice alternative. Additionally, this year's tax return was a very pleasant surprise and far exceeded what we expected. In fact, our experience has been better than promised from start to finish and beyond. We've been so happy to sing Shinova's praises to friends and family that my father-in-law opted to contract Shinova for his solar next June. We couldn't be more excited about our decision to go solar with Shinova!

Install crew did a great job, seemed knowledgeable and seasoned

We have had our panels for 3 years and are happy with them. We are on reverse metering and only have electric bills in the winter months. These will pay for themselves long before the 20 year parts and labor warranty expires.

Shinnova did a great job of communicating throughout the whole process, and taking care of all the nuanced background, (pulling permits, getting electricians out to the site, etc.) work without any hastle. We've had our panels for well over a year now and it's been great!

We have had our solar for over a year. Prior to choosing a company, I did research on solar companies. Shinnova ranked high on ratings and still does. Many HOA’s list companies if you go solar and they rank high there too. I am extremely happy with the inspection process to make sure our roof support was sufficient. Shinnova added support to our newer home to make sure it met standards. The app I have lets me see how my solar is storing in the battery back up. I have met people that have solar which they bought through door to door salesmen. Please don’t go there. Choose a company that’s been around and has a high rating. We are glad we did!

Great customer service, weekly communication, quick installation

Shinnova Solar, Did great! They came to the house multiple times and went over the how much power would we need and how much the solar panels would generate. They went over many purchase plans and loans. They performed numerous inspections of the house and power system before generating plans and submitting them for approval. They provide weekly updates till the system was approve and then scheduled a date for installation. Then followed up with the web site for inspecting the system. They went the extra mile on helping with financing and with set me up with a tax person to help gain all the credits I was able to get. Overall, Shinnova Sola was great to work with and I highly recommend them and I have been telling all friends about them
