They left me hanging for 6 months, had to call them all the time to see what was going on. Then after 6 months told me they couldn't do the job, made me think they were scamming me into going to someone else then it would come back on me and I would owe them money because of the clause in the contract. So if you go with them make sure you have defined time lines in the contract.

ION solar provided me and my family with a great system. With it I can now create and use my own clean reusable energy and even sell some back the electric companies if I see fit.

ION Solar is a very reasonable company that costumer service kept in contact with me in the about every step of the process. The installers was very professional and completed my installation in a timely manner. I highly recommend them to anyone who to save money on solar energy and want to receive high quality services. I will continue using this company because it fits my budget and everything I need.

Great service and they keep me up to date on each step! This was my original thought. Sales person and everyone were great till the panels got on my roof and I started making payments. They sat there non-functional for 5 months while I paid for electricity and non-working panels. They only reimbursed me for 3 payments stating “…the contract that you signed we are not legally required to reimburse you for any payments. But that we are willing to give you these three to help with the frustration.” The wiring was bad on instal but in the end I paid the price for their mistake. They are expensive but the reviews were good so I went with them. I hope this will persuade someone like me from making the same mistake.

This is the almost the worst experience I have ever had with a company providing installation. Their project management was completely hopeless. They took months longer than needed then even now they say it’s complete it stopped working the first weekend. Run from them and use any other provider but ION. The only contractor that has ever been worse was a person who defrauded us in a scam but honestly this was nearly as bad an experience. Run.

Not big enough system, but communication was good.

The care for custermers was not there, all you could say was im sorry, no one wonts to here to mess, when its costing them money and time, you guys should do what you say, and stop fooling to custermer, its not always about money, its about being up front with people, you will make more mony by telling the truth, and give people what you say you are going to give them.

Ion Solar was fantastic in all aspects - from design, planning, permitting, and financing - they were responsive and excellent in all phases of getting my system!

The solar panels look nice. It took 8 months longer than you said it would take. You improperly installed electrical breakers, leading me to lose power to most my house. You couldn't pass city inspection for 6 months after you said they were installed. I was double charged for 4 months on the cost of my power. You still haven't paid me back for the 4 months of being double charged. You didn't send me the $500 rebate you promised for my power box not needing to be upgraded.

I liked how fast and easy the process was. I only had one initial meeting with the sales person and they took care of everything else. I liked that I didn’t even have to deal with my HOA.

Hey. You guys are pretty awesome. U guys have been awesome so far. Only exception was turning on after plan to operate certification. The system looks great. Family is super excited.

Was told Solar would eliminate my power bill. Still spending $50-$125 on my power bill on top of my solar bill. Have yet to get a $0 bill from Rocky Mountain Power like I was told. Not saving any money and now I'm in the hole $30k. Would be awesome if I was only paying my Solar bill every month, but thats not the case here.
