My first experience with solar. The company is great and my solar is working great. The only thing is I’m not getting any credits like I was told I would get. I’m still paying aps every month which my husband is not happy about. I guess had I had the money to buy everything outright and not have monthly payments it wouldn’t seem so disturbing. But I didn’t so I guess I’ll just have to get over it. Although it makes me kind of regret I got solar because I could pay years of aps bills with what the system cost. But water unde the bridge now.

I was not given enough information about how solar works. Yes, I can get credits from the power company, however, that has happened only one time in the year that my solar has been operational. That credit was quickly wiped out during the summer of 2023 because it gets so hot during the summer here in Phoenix that the solar panels suffer a loss of efficiency. The person who sold us our system calculated a 8kw system would cover our electricity needs. We have had to pay an electric bill on top of the solar system loan every month since June of 2023. Sometimes small like $16, but sometimes large like $120. They should have designed a larger system. I have to get up on the roof every couple of months and dust off the accumulated dust and bird droppings. I have also paid someone to come and clean the panels with filtered watered to avoid leaving a film (never use tap water to clean the panels). Needless to say I am not happy with how the system is producing. We will end up having to add panels to cover the electric bill, especially since the power company keeps raising the rates. I also had to keep calling the company to find the status of the installation while waiting for it to be installed. I had problems with the monitoring system not being able to connect to WiFi so I could get operational data from the system. I had to call the company many times to get someone to come out and find out what the problem was. It took about three times before they got it working. I guess they were short handed or something, but that's not my problem. I should have been a priority since I was an unhappy customer whose system had already been installed and they had gotten paid for it.

They’re not a professional company at all Took them over a year to install, no customer service, call they never return your call, never give you an answer, the worst company I have ever deal with, no I will never use them or recommend them to any body, the #1 WORST Company you could ever have to do your project

The whole experience was frustrating. My original sales person left, I had to chase down someone to finish the set up, I had to chase down responses to problems, the app doesn't connect to the grid so I don’t know how much I’m importing/no one showed me how to use the app. They wouldn’t honor my referral and said there was nothing they could do to make it right. There’s been zero follow up since starting to see how we are doing.

This would have been 5 stars only if: 1) They had recommended larger capacity system, instead of the 6.7kW system. We never accounted for guests staying over in our 4700 sq ft home or when we are going to need to charge our electric vehicles while the AC is running. Thus, we've been hit with demand charges pretty much every month since installing it in Summer 2023, resulting in no significant savings after plunking down $26k on this system. 2) They had been up front about their "Curb" system costing extra on top of the solar system cost. One of the main reasons we went with these guys was because "Curb" was a selling point during the sales pitch. However, 2 weeks after our install, when I called the office when we were going to get "Curb" apo, we were told they are Elevation's proprietary software and we need to pay another few hundred bucks to get it. Emphase does not accurately track how much of what we produce is actually getting used or sent to the grid; it is only good at measuring how much we are producing (thus, every month, our Enphase report tells us we are producing exactly the same kW as what we are using....which is not probable). Otherwise, the sales rep was very knowledgeable of the products and explained why they choose certain inverters and solar panels over others. The installation team were top notch: courteous, friendly, efficient, meticulous in painting touchups and respectful of my property).

It took a lot longer to installu solar panels than I was initially led to believe. Additionally, Elevation was not communicative enough during the delay. Just a call once a month to let me know I had not been forgotten about would have gone along way.

Ashton was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. Everyone we dealt with was quick to respond with any question we have had. The process took less than 7 weeks from our first meeting with Ashton, to turning our system on. Will highly recommend to everyone we know!
