From start to finish, I had a phenomenal experience. Solar projects are complex and when issues did arise (permitting, supply, activation), most were outside the control of Elevation. My utility company was dragging their feet, but I was properly updated with each step in the process. Seamless (from my end) from beginning to end. My system is 6.5 kW with REC panels and is working like a charm.

Our salesman was very professional and walked us through the expectations and what to expect when we go solar. He did a very good job keeping us informed during the process. In two years I’ve only had to pay one utility bill (aside from connection fees). Happy camper!

I like the feeling that my utility bill will never be outrageously high again. I have a lot of my neighbors complain about the high energy bills they receive each summer, so I like the fact that I’m saving money and paying less than my neighbors. Elevation install crews were great, and I can call in for support whenever I need a question answered.

Everyone we spoke with at Elevation was very knowledgeable. The only issue we had was trying to understand how the solar tax credit works, and making sure we claim all or as much of the credit as possible. But as a whole, I’m happy with Elevation Solar and will recommend the company.

Elevation Solar is the worst. I would give it zero stars if I could. Their communication is HORRIBLE. First, I wasn't told that putting on solar meant I couldn't have my foam roof updated, had I known this before the installation, I would have waited. The installers broke an existing skylight and nothing they did fixed it. They came out and "replaced" the broken skylight 2 or 3 times. It still leaks. Now I have to pay to have the solar panels uninstalled and reinstalled at $250 per panel. Originally, due to the extra costs, time, aggravation, and their lack of communication, this was supposed to be done for me one time as a courtesy. I called to request to speak with someone before they sent out any agreements but that didn't happen. I've done everything I can think of except demand to talk to a manager of some kind. This has been an ongoing between Elevation Solar and me for 3 years now. Additionally, I don't see savings reflected on my energy bill. In short, NONE of this experience was worth it.

I was told that my solar would be $150 during the summer months. During the inspection the SRP tech told me that the solar panel is generating less than 1/4 of the energy that my house is using. It also looks like they screwed something up as my electrical usage has actually gone UP since they installed the panels. They were supposed to come and connect my internet, and haven't heard a word from them. Reading some of the other reviews on this site I'm not hopeful. I'd stay away from these guys, it's a big scam.

Just awful customer service. It started out great and then I gave them an $8K deposit and then everything changed. The moment they took my money they stopped communicating and responding to call, emails, and texts. They fumbled everything from the very beginning and lost my file for 30--so they did nothing despite cashing my check. They promised better communication and they said they would make it up to me. It's been 7 weeks and nothing has changed. I have no idea where we are in the process and I have no timeline or idea of when anything will get done. Their initial estimate was 8-10 weeks for everything to be completed. They took my money nearly 3 months ago and have done very little and if they have, they certainly haven't communicated with me. I have 11 unanswered call and/or emails. Twice I've been promised by customer service managers a call back and an explanation--yet they've never called. Please do yourself a favor and research this company. I'm stuck with them and they won't let me out of the contract without hefty cancelation fees yet they have not delivered on their end and just refuse to engage with the customer. Very sad situation. Obviously I have buyer's remorse over choosing them. Terrible way to treat the customer!

We did a MASSIVE amount of research for 2 years prior to our decision to finally pull the trigger on solar. Cost of rate hikes and seeing our money go down the drain each month drove us to one of the best decisions in our life. We switched to solar, put in an EV charger and got all our homes insulation redone by Elevation in the same package offering. We found out that they are the only solar company in the valley also approved for rebates from the utilities for insulation and duct sealing too. All together I AM VERY HAPPY. Things were relatively quick and they actually had to switch panels out mid project because of supply issues with panels in the industry. They gave us a complimentary panel upgrade and we were eventually installed and turned on last month. So far my bill is -$25 for this past month. Make sure you include the monitoring app as it shows exactly what your home is making in terms of savings with solar each day. Go green! You WONT REGRET IT.

Took 4-5 months to install, still paying electricity and solar 5 months after activation and they claim I should be glad I’m paying less when they sold me no more elec bill - the remedy they say is buying more panels after they screwed me for the better part of 2021 - I know I’m not the only one, let’s make them pay for their deceptive business practice

I purchased with Elevation in May of 2021. The system was installed in July, fairly quick turn around. The crews were all very knowledgeable and professional. He did notify me that there was a small crack on one roof tile and they came out within a few days to fix it. Outside of that, the system had my bill the first month in August at $15 (normally $350). I pulled the trigger as a way to hedge against inflation and its doing an excellent job as an investment.

We decided on Elevation due to their technology and warranty. I am an engineer and read deep into everything. Overall install went very well and we have seen near zero bills over last month since its been activated. I did use their tracking app, which helped as they seem to be short staffed with customer service. The app made it possible to get updates without calling in. Would reccomend.

I can honestly say our experience with Elevation Solar has been extremely negative and very disappointing. As a customer, if you are looking for non-skilled personnel to install or repair your SOLAR System with a company that has no communication within their office, or any type of customer satisfaction, this is the company for you. Their service is absolutely atrocious!!!!!! This is by far a company that is unreliable for solar. This company will take YOUR money, and if you are unfortunate enough to start having problems, you will have difficulty contacting anyone to help you including field supervisors, if by chance you are lucky enough to get their phone number. From day one the install was not done correctly. I had roof leaks, and panels went out due to obsolete wire connectors. I was never notified of panel outages through the company, which they were in fact suppose to be monitoring production for one year. This company drags their feet when there is a issue with your solar, to fix or repair the problems. When the company finally made arrangements for personal to come to do repairs, no one showed up. Not only did they not show but I did not receive an E-Mail or a phone call letting me know of the change in plans. This scheduling/no-show happened multiply times. When finally a person came to my home, they did not understand the scoop of the complaint due to the lack of communication in their office but upon inspection they could not fix the problems due to company’s lack of material. At the present time I still have unresolved issues. If upper level management does not see to take pride in their work, the workers underneath them will do the same. I advise everyone before you decide to go with any SOLAR COMPANY go online go to the BBB, CUSTOMER AFFAIRS, and the company’s web site. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT CHOOSE ELEVATION SOLAR…….

the sales person basically they will tell you anything to make the sale ..... Most of it it lies..... customer service is basically non existent yes they answer the call but can only give you scripted non helpful answers... it took them 3 months too finally send out a service guy and he gave me lip service as well.... so I would not trust this company once the deal is signed your on your own....

I had Elevation install solar panels and a battery backup a few months ago. (Note: I started this process in October of 2020, installation took almost 8 months.) My primary reasons for installing were 1) help the environment 2) save a few dollars on monthly electric 3) my neighborhood suffers from frequent (monthly) power outages. Since the installation, I've had to call numerous times. My battery system has yet to work once during power outages. This weekend was the worst. Saturday, around 2pm I lost power to half my house. Because it was the weekend - can't call Elevation - so I had to have an electrician come out to look. He reported the Solar Panels and Battery were doing nothing. I called Solar this morning first thing (Monday) only to be told I will need to wait 72 hours for any kind of response. I asked to escalate and was once again told I would need to wait 72 hours - "that's how customer support works here" - they informed me. Do NOT use this company. If you do - expect non-existent customer service.
