The lowest rating I could give is a one star. The above rating and all star ratings below would be NO STARS or ZERO if I was allowed to do that. I had solar installed by SunPro, and about 1/2 year later lost function of 1/2 of my panals. Upon trying to find a number for SolarPro, I discovered that SunPro had sold to ADT. I contacted ADT, and did have a service call in a timely fashion, for diagnosic investigation. They found a totally fried and burnt out optimizer, which they left in place. The promise was they would check with the Manufacturer and get back to me. I waited about 2 weeks and called back. The response was that they were still dealing with the manufacturer. After that, despite calls every day to every few days, with promises that someone would call back within 24 hours, I NEVER received a single call, email, text, or boo back from ADT. Not even after I requested that the Customer Service agent communicate with his supervisor. And the representatives NEVER let me know if there was any type of problem with me, my solar, my location, or my electricity supplier. It was always, " we will get this resolved for you. " I would have been fine with them simply telling me they didn't want to do business with me, rather than being strung along. (That's an airlines' tactic)! I finally gave up calling, and despite a lenghty file of calls and communications, now 3 months later, not a single peep. This is a totatly unprofessional and unscrupulous company, at least as far as the solar is concerned, and I would have to conclude that it applies to the home security business as well. DO NOT get involved with them. Find another company. G Richardson Alamogordo, NM

I was so disappointed in this "All-Star" company. We got all the way through the process, despite having to change sales people- only to find out they had not given me the solar panels to cover the quote I had initially received. There was a break down during the design process, and they just stopped calling. I reached out several times and finally a "new" district manager contacted and told me that "we had replaced the former guy and that my salesman had been let go"- and "he was going to come see me in two days and shake my hand and get this back on track". Friday came and went no call. So now I am once again looking into quotes! BIG disappointment.

I wish I could give them a negative star rating! The sales guy for ADT Solar lied to us several times. 1.) We were told that the company used their own ADT employees to do the installs, NOT TRUE! In actuality, ADT hires subcontractors to do their installs. 2.) We were told that with the system they designed for our house it would leave us with a $0 , ZERO, electric bill! Again, NOT TRUE! We have had electric bills due to the solar panels not producing enough electricity for the last 5 months, last month's bill exceeded $220. On top of the utility bill, we are also paying a monthly payment for the $52K Solar System loan to cover panels that DON'T ADD UP TO OUR CONSUMPTION! To make matters worse, we requested additional solar panels of which cost us extra but it still doesn't produce enough energy to cover our current consumption needs. We thought that we would buy an Electric Vehicle in the future but that is now out of the question for us! We also asked the sales rep about adding batteries to the system and were told that we did not need them and that the plan they designed was the best solution and would cover our consumption needs, plus more. 3.) We were also told they had electrical companies with solar buy back programs of 1 to 1 for our excess energy production, again NOT TRUE! 4.) NO Customer Support. The sales rep won't return our phone calls and no one from ADT Solar is willing to help us either! I would STAY CLEAR from ADT Solar! Nothing we were told was true and we're completely disappointed that we ever considered making this purchase! It's just one big snow job!

I wish Sunpro would have never sold out to ADT. I had my roof replaced and ADT solar remove the panels so that the roofers could replace my roof. The problems began when ADT came out to replace my panels. The installers took no pride in their workmanship when reinstalling the panels. I watched them spin the corner of the panels on my brand new shingle roof they wore Off excessive amounts of asphalt for my shingles by again not taking pride in their workmanship. I had to ask my roofer to come back out and replace dozens of damaged shingles that the ADT solar installers caused. They sent two separate cruise out to take pictures and according to them there was no damage yet my roofer who is in that business clearly stated that they did and since they took pride in their workmanship replaced what they could as a professional courtesy. I've tried to work out an agreement with ADT solar an adjustment to their Reinstallation of their panels but they've refused to compromise. They have now since threatened to send this to collections which I will provide whoever wants to see all the correspondence I've had with this company. They have a very good product but their installation practices and professionalism does not allow me to recommend them as a solar business for somebody to go to.

I invited ADT Solar to quote me on a solar panel system for my home. The representative was experienced and good to work with, however the asking price was way too high. A residential solar panel system in Illinois should cost around $3.20 per Watt. ADT Solar quoted more than double that. I did find other companies that quoted me in the $3.20 per Watt range, so please be very cautious of ADT Solar and the crazy expensive asking prices.

We’ve had solar with adt since December and it’s been a nightmare of a ride. From being lied to about how much coverage we would have to everything. Since summer has ramped up we can’t even turn on our ac unit or we’re sitting in the negative with two different bills the electric and then solar side. The panels has caused the house to be extremely hot and trapping in extra heat to say the least I wish we never would have went with it. They take your money and then their done with you can’t even get any one to call me back.

System stopped working as intended 9 months after installation. They will not send out a technician for 4-6 weeks , meanwhile I am still paying my bill.

JOSEPH F WAS GREAT TO DEAL WITH, EMPHASE EQUIPMENT IS DOING EVERYTHING THAT WAS PROMISED. THEIR REFERRAL SYSTEM IS QUESTIONABLE.. I REFERRED TWO DIFFERENT FRIENDS AND RECEIVED MONIES FROM THE SECOND. THE FIRST IS ACROSS FROM MY HOME, ADT SOLAR SAYS SOMEONE ELSE REFFERED THEM..THE SALESMAN GOT THE SALE ON THE DAY OF MY INSTALL. SO WHAT WOULD YOU THINK

It took months to get a quote. Then things went downhill. I was told it would be a two-day installation. The panels were done in on, but not the electrical. They didn’t come back for 5 weeks, even after multiple emails and calls. But they couldn't even manage to finish after the 2nd full day. Again it was over a month before they came back for day 3 of the installation. They didn't finish that day, but did return the next day (day 4) and complete the installation. A couple of days after that the system went live. I logged into the account that allows you to monitor the system only to find out there were 18 errors with the system, and that it hadn't produced any electricity for my home. I reported this a few days ago, and not surprisingly nothing's been done about it. I'm now nearly 3 months from the 1st install day and I still don't have a solar system I can use. Oh, but they do make sure to get paid the full amount of the system prior to the start of installation. I've tried at least a dozen times to get to speak to someone above the person who oversaw my account, but they've refused to speak to me, or even email me back. They've refused to refund any of my money for the inexcusable delays. Who says they're doing a two-day job only to have a 5 week gap in between the days? No one worth using for sure! The electricians that came the first two days were incompetent and slow. They were to install a 220V outlet for my car to charge. There was a rough hole cut in the sheetrock and the outlet was just pushed back inside the sheetrock. I had solar installed on a home before by a different company; a good company. Unfortunately, they didn't have an installer in this area. The difference between the two was night and day. They were competent, professional, and timely. The system didn't have errors at set up. In fact, it didn't have any during the time I lived there. I have zero confidence in the product or people involved with ADT Solar. I would say yes you should get solar, just not from them.

I got panels installed in August 2022, and after they were installed, they didn't care anymore; the panels were not working. I have three arrays installed, but only two workes properly; one array with six panels is not working; even technicians said it must be a faulty wire, but c/s refused to file a ticket to get a fix and called cust service a nightmare; they never answer, and when you complain about the production of the solar panels, they refuse TO FILE A TICKET to help and hung up the phone, TERRIBLE COMPANY, CHOSE ANOTHER ONE.

I worked with SunPro’s engineers to over produce monthly to cover the usage in the 5 summer months in this Texas heat. My real complaint is service issues reported to service technician timelines. Customer service explains that they are short on service personnel and lag time is about 4 weeks for a call back let alone how much time from there to on site and repair. This is the second time I needed on site service and they delayed. The first time I was given the same 4 week service delay notice and I had to call in 3 times after the 4 weeks delay. If this is your business plan moving forward you’ll fail! This is going to affect your other sales of services. I purchased 54 panels to ensure that my system produces 2800 KW monthly on average. A couple of months during the summer it produced up to 3000 KW. In November it experienced an issue where production fell over 1500KW. Obviously it’s costing me money on top of using all of my banked credits. Do you need someone to help you put the correct personnel out to resolve these types of issues? It only takes a week to train certified electricians on solar. It must be your absorption of free service with the purchase. This only works with an understanding that budgeting comes from sales of units broken out by current installation cost and future service calls. Most likely figuring 1 call per 12 months. Happy customers produce future sales and greed produces failure ultimately. Everything has a cost and good practice of 100% customer satisfaction will always keep you selling My advice was free so fix my system! Forest H.

Four months since signed contract. Still Waiting. They say wait is because of PGE electrical approval. Biweekly updates have disappeared.

SunPro was great until ADT got involved. 10 of our 25 panels weren't connecting to Enphase. Took forever for anyone to come and take take of it. We shouldn't have to be paying an electric bill
